Local economy has a fundamental and essential role in the creation of an Education City. In addition to generating a sense of community, the local economy generates more employment and more money in the city than the national or global economy.

A city’s economy creates significant learning spheres for all ages and encourages participation and involvement in city life, a sense of community, and small economic activities that augment interactions between citizens.
