Yael Schwartzberg, Chief Executive Officer
Yael is Director of the Institute for Democratic Education. She holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Anthropology, both from Tel Aviv University. Yael has twenty years of experience developing and managing change and innovation processes in education and has played a large role in the successful development of the Education City model in Israel. She has accompanied and facilitated dozens of cities and education institutions in their journeys towards profound and unique transformation.
Sophia Burton, C2City Project Manager
Sophia is Nobel Education Network's Education Specialist and C2City Project Manager. She holds a Master’s in International Education Policy from Harvard University where she studied global education and immigrant integration. A dual American and German citizen, Sophia’s previous work experience includes the French Ministry of Education, Boston Public Schools, and the Migration Policy Institute.
Dr. Ron Dvir, C2City Knowledge Center Director
Ron is Co-Director of the C2City Knowledge Center and holds a PhD in Intellectual Capital Management from Cranfield University. A leading expert in Innovation and Future Centers, he has been the chief solution architect in multiple large-scale R&D projects in global knowledge and innovation management. Ron has published and edited numerous papers and books on the art and practice of innovation.
Michal Gilboa Ater, C2City Knowledge Center Director
Michal is Co-Director of the C2City Knowledge Center, Director of Knowledge and Pedagogy, and a managing member of the Institute for Democratic Education. She holds an MA in Public Policy and BA in Literature and Theatre Studies from Tel Aviv University. Michal has led and managed the Education Cities change process in Israel and previously served as headmaster of a democratic school.
